For the first time ever, I had a fake/spam email today. Although you get a warning from ebay about these, if you have never had it happen, and have been a member for some time (worse if you are new), you may not think it will happen to you...It will!
I have been given good advice which is VITAL!!
These fake contacts will go both into your ebay mail, and your normal email address. When these show in your ebay mail, you can open them. Then click on to REPORT at the side of your ebay mail options.
However, NEVER, I`ll say it again, NEVER open any email which goes to your normal email address/ and is not recognised by you as a seller you have purchased from!!!!
If you open the fake email in your normal email account, THIS WILL GIVE THE FRAUDULENT INDIVIDUAL/COMPANY YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS
